Plastic Flower

I found this inspiration post on Pinterst and had to try it. It's so creative.

Inspiration

Supplies
  • 17 plastic spoons
  • Candle
  • Needle nose pliers

First, cut the handles off of the spoons. Cut two short, five a little longer and 10 a bit longer than the five.

Next, start melting a spoon and shape it. Just heat the plastic up enough until you can mold it but not so hot that it's too hot to touch. Melt the two short ones together at the end to make the middle bud. Continue by melting and shaping the five and connecting them together at the bottom and do the same with the 10.

Melt the bottom of the cluster of five and connect it to the cluster of 10. Then, melt the bottom of the bud and connect it to the middle of the cluster of five.

Finally, melt a bit of the back and fold a piece of plastic over a safety pin. Now, you can attach it to a necklace or whatever you choose!
