Threaded Necklace

If you have any old necklace chains or if you come across a necklace that needs a little something extra, this is a great way to spruce it up!

Inspiration

Supplies
  • Necklace chain
  • 4 mm beads or pearls
  • Thick thread. I used a wax covered thread.
  • Needle
  • Rosette flower

Start at one end of the necklace chain and tie you thread. Decide how many beads you will need and how to space them out. Start threading through each link. I added a bead after 12 links. It depends on how many beads you want and the size of your links. Continue threading through each link and adding beads. Before and after each bead do a loop knot to hold it in place and to prevent bunching of the chain. When you reach the other end of the necklace tie the thread off. Now you can add a rosette flower.
