Jersey Knit Infinity Scarf with Lace

I was inspired by this Pinterest post several months ago. It's a pretty simple project the turns out really cute and is a great scarf to add to an outfit for a feminine touch.

Inspiration

Supplies
  • 1 1/2 yards of jersey knit fabric
  • 1/2 yard lace fabric
  • Matching or coordinating thread
  • Sewing machine (or needle to sew by hand)
  • Fabric flower or pin (optional)

Cut your jersey and lace fabric to your desired width. The wider it is the more volume your scarf will have. I cut mine to about 20 inches wide. Sew the ends of the lace fabric to the ends of the jersey fabric. Note: you can also clean up the edges more by attaching one end of the lace fabric to the jersey fabric and them sewing the edges together length wise and turning it right side out before completing the circle by sewing the other end of the lace to the jersey. This will make your scarf a tube and will hide the rough edges by a seam. Attach your fabric flower or pin.

Now just add it to your favorite outfit!
