Turquoise Chip Bracelet

I had a bunch of turquoise chips leftover from my turquoise earrings I made. So, I decided to make a bracelet to match.

Finding uses for materials I had.

Supplies

• Chain bracelet
• 2" head pins
• Turquoise chips
• Round nose pliers

Take a 2" head pin and put a couple of chips. Make a loop with your round nose pliers

Tighten loop around a link on the bracelet. Continue adding head pins with turquoise chips until you reach your desired volume around the entire bracelet.

Ta da!

Wire Chandelier Earrings

I decided to get a little creative on my own this time. I love how Pinterest may not directly inspire a project but helps to make the creativity inside flow!

Supplies

• 16 gauge wire
• 4 large beads
• 2 small beads
• 2 shaped or small beads
• Earring backs
• 6 2" head pins
• 2 eye pins
• Round nose pliers

First, take the 16 gauge wire and cut two pieces about three inches long. Starting in the center of one piece, use the round nose pliers to create a loop. Take the other side and create another loop underneath. Create a loop on each end too.

Take your head pins and insert them into two large beads and one small/shaped bead. Loop the ends of the head pins and connect them to the loops of the wired earring. I put one large bead on each end and the shaped bead in the middle on the bottom center loop. Take a eye pin and insert it into the small bead. Connect the bottom of the eye pin to the wired earring and the top to the earring back.

Now, you have cute chandelier earrings!

Beaded Wrap Earrings

I saw this photo on Pinterest and decided to make my version of it to match the twisted beaded necklace I made.

• 2 sizes of seed beads
• Teardrop beads
• Memory wire
• 26 gauge wire
• Earrings
• Round nose pliers
• Wire cutters

Take your memory wire and cut it to the size you would like your circle earring to be. Then, use your needle nose pliers to make a loop at the top that you will use to connect it to your earring back. 

Take one size of seed bead (I used my larger size) and start beading around your circle of memory wire. Halfway down I added three teardrop beads as well. Use your 26 gauge wire to wrap in between each larger seed bead and string a smaller one after you wrap it around the memory wire once. Continue all the way around. 

Take the other end of the memory wire circle and loop it around the first loop to complete the circle. Add your earring back and that's it! For interest I added a larger turquoise bead and a small black bead. 

 

Twisted Beaded Necklace

I need a necklace to go with an outfit I have for an event coming up. While browsing Pinterest I found a picture that I used as inspiration to make it.

• Necklace chain
• Beading string
• Beads (your choice of sizes, shapes and colors)
• Scissors
• End clamps

First, string your beads. I did several strands of different color, size and shape of beads.

Attach the beaded strands to the necklace chain with the end clamps. That's it! Enjoy!

Layered Beaded Necklace

I was inspired by a photo of a beautiful necklace I found on Pinterest. Here is my interpretation of it.

• Metal eye pins
• Necklace chain
• Round nose pliers

First, start a link by putting a bead on an eye pin and using the round nose pliers to create a second eye on the other end.

Then, take a link out of the middle of the necklace chain to open it up. Start adding your beaded links. 

Continue to add beaded links until you have the length and number of strands you desire. Add any embellishment you would like. I added a bird pendant. 

Beaded Bracelet Bunch

I've been on a real jewelry kick lately. Now that the weather has warmed up, I'm starting to wear less long sleeves and jackets. With my wrists exposed now, I've wanted to wear more bracelets. I found this post on Pinterest and wanted to try it.

• Beads of your choice
• Elastic string
• Ribbon
• Charm (optional)

First, string your beads. I did five strands of beads. 

Tie the ends of each strand together to make a bracelet. 

Take the ribbon and tie all of your bracelets together. I added my charm to the ribbon and tied the ribbon in a bow. 

You now have a cute bracelet that's easy to throw on as you're out the door!

Crystal and Pearl Cluster Necklace

I have discovered through this blog my absolute love for making jewelry. I've never really attempted it before. Now, I'm learning and discovering new things about the art of jewelry making. Most of what I'm doing now is pretty simple but I hope to continue to learn. This post is of an inspiration photo I found on Pinterest.

Supplies

• 4mm pearls
• 5 6mm pearls
• Crystals
• Necklace chain
• 2" head pins
• Round nose pliers

I started with the 5 6mm pearls. I attached one to the middle of the necklace and spaced the other four on either side of the middle one symmetrically.

 

Attach the pearls by inserting a 2" head pin through the pearl. Cut down the remaining pin if long. You need just enough to create a loop at the end with the pliers. Start the loop and then wrap it around a chain link in the necklace. 

Continue adding the 4mm pearls and then add the crystals. It just takes as much as you want to create your desired fullness and volume. 

Now you have a elegant necklace to fancy up a casual outfit or to add sparkle to a dress.

Wire Wrapped Bead Earrings

I had a few beads left from my beaded flower bracelet. Being one not to waste beautiful craft material...I had to make something else.

Supplies
28 gauge wire
16 gauge wire
6 larger beads
4 seed beads
Needle nose pliers
Round nose pliers


Take the 16 gauge wire and shape it to your desire. I did tear drops. Use the 28 gauge wire to wrap around your shape adding the beads as you go. Finish it off with needle nose pliers to smooth out any sharpe areas. Attach to earrings and you're done!

Beaded Flower Bracelet

I just love adding to my jewelry collection! I also love the color aqua! I saw this post on Pinterest and had to try it out. I made mine using the same color scheme but I think this bracelet would look really cute in lots of other colors too!

• Fabric strip
• 3 seed beads
• Thread

• Clasp (optional)

First, string your beads! I did two strands of beads. If you decide to use a clasp, tie the beaded strands to the clasp.

Create your rosette flower. Here's the tutorial. Attach the flower to the bracelet with some thread. 

With a bit of time and patience, you have a beautiful, chic new bracelet!

Triple Strand Beaded Necklace

I love making jewelry and I love wearing it! This post on Pinterest inspired me to make my own necklace creation.

• 4mm glass beads
• 6mm glass beads
• Seed beads
• Clear stretchy beading string
• Clasp
• Scissors
• Ruffle flower

String your three strands of beads in the pattern you choose. I did two strands of 4mm beads separated by seed beads and one strand of 6mm beads separated by seed beads.

Tie your three strands to your clasps.

Add your ruffle flower.

Now use it to complete your outfit!

Beaded Double Wrap Bracelet

I have become addicted to double wrap bracelets. I think it all started when Pandora came out with their leather braided wrap bracelets. Since then I have a red Pandora double wrap leather braided bracelet and a double wrap watch from The Limited. So, when I discovered this Pinterest picture I flipped and knew I HAD to make me some of these.

This is a pretty complicated project to explain. So, I'm doing this post a bit differently. I created a (pretty pitiful) diagram that shows the steps to making one of these bracelets.

Here are my photos from the bracelets I made.

For this bracelet I used large, oddly shaped plastic beads.

 For this one I used much smaller glass beads.

I made the wire twists myself. This is the "button" that goes through the loop to clasp the bracelet. I used 16 gauge wire and rounded needle nose pliers to created it. 

I love these bracelets! They can take a little while to make depending on the bead size and how long you want it. I just kept wrapping it around my wrist as I went to make sure I made it the right length. They're a lot of fun to make. I plan on making several more to go with all of my different outfits!
